32% of Streetcar riders make less than $30k a year. If it weren't for overtime, I'd be close to being one of them.
While it may seem like there isn't much to a streetcar, the view is very different once you get above or below one of the trains. Each train has several hundred, if not thousand parts to maintain.
While it doesn't feel like this second year in Portland went by quickly, 2017 definitely feels like it went by quickly.
