Car 015 was a prototype and the first modern streetcar made in the US since 1952, when the last PCC Car was made. Truly a one-of-a-kind, it was historically important for US transit history, but it had chronic propulsion issues. After failing to successfully sell at auction three times, it’s now destined for the scrap yard.
