Picture Post: It’s hard to believe that this time next year will mark a full decade in Portland.

Nine years ago today, I landed in Portland shortly before midnight. My “home” was an airport hotel for about two weeks before I found my first apartment downtown. While I didn’t move down to South Waterfront until 2016, it was the first area I visited in Portland as August 9, 2015 was Tilikum Crossing preview day. The city has changed a lot since then, but no city is perfect, and I have no plans to stop calling Portland home.
