Picture Post: Spent the day at @portlandjapanesegarden yesterday, otherwise known as a typical Sunday for me. Every weekend they have a cultural demonstration, and this week was the Koto. It was a demonstration I'd seen before and thought I knew what the program would be. However, the last piece was different this time, as at the time of the performance, it was March 11th in Japan. The performance ended with a tribute piece to Tōhoku, and I'll be honest, it really hit me. Hard. That is a day I'll never forget. Stay strong, Japan.

Taken at Portland Japanese Garden on Mar 11, 2019 @ 13:42.
