Picture Post: I think this time Miyazaki might actually be ready to retire.

“The Boy and the Heron” is a gorgeous film that you should absolutely watch the 4K version of. It feels like there are several nods to Ghibli films of the past sprinkled throughout it, and it’s definitely a lot more interesting than “The Wind Rises” was. Indeed worthy of the Academy Award.
