Photo of the Peace Lantern at the Strolling Pond Garden of the Portland Japanese Garden. The lantern was donated by the Mayor of Yokohama, Japan, Ryozo Hiranuma, in September 1954. Today, replica lanterns have been gifted by the Portland Japanese Garden to other gardens throughout the world.
