Site icon The France Hopper Network

Well hello there.

For those of you who are returning readers, you may have noticed some changes. If you’re new here, welcome. It’s good to have you. That said, this post is more for returning readers (but you’re awesome too new readers!) So, let’s get right to it. shall we? First off, yes, the France Hopper Network now actually lives at fhnwrk.com, it no longer redirects to stephen.zreomusic.com (it’s the other way around now). That said, there is a chance there may still be some broken links lying around here. I’ve done my best to patch everything, but I’m still a human (although trust me, technology isn’t perfect either). The site has also gone on a bit of diet since I found out it’s gone pretty big while doing the migration to the new domain. So, what does that mean? I’ve decided to discontinue some features of the site:

So why the move? As some of you may be aware, Zelda Reorchestrated, who graciously has hosted this site for the last two years, will be closing on June 12th. For everyone who has graciously offered to provide hosting, we (ZREO) thank you for support, but hosting is not our problem. I encourage you to read this post to learn more about what will be happening to the site come June 12th. So, back to how the closing of ZREO affects FHNWRK; as part of ZREO’s closure, the zreomusic.com domain and all subdomains (including our old) will be shut down. Given that I’ve now bought the fhnwrk.com domain for five years or so now, it was time to move the site anyway. ZREO is still graciously hosting us (in fact, we never changed servers) but the stephen.zreomusic.com domain will go dark with ZREO. I’ll be making another post regarding ZREO’s closure as June 12th gets closer.

So to wrap things up, broken links. Find them. Yell at me. I’ll fix them. Some site features have been retired, but I’m not killing the site entirely. The site has limped along the past two years now, and I’ll be damned if I call it quits now. Because calling it quits now would be to stop dreaming. And you should never stop dreaming. I heard a damn good quote last week, and I’ll leave you with it:

“When you say ‘It’s hard’, it actually means ‘I’m not strong enough to fight for it’. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!” – Unknown
